Fursuit Photo & Parade

Fursuit Photo

  • Photoshoot staging opens at 10 AM on Saturday September 19 in the Main Stage ballroom.
  • If you wish to arrive early, the line for the photoshoot will be in the Meetup A and B.
  • The photo will be taken at 10:50 AM.
  • You will need to be ready for the photoshoot (in fursuit head or other face covering) in the Main Stage Ballroom before 10:45 AM.
  • There will be no late admission. Late arrivals can wait in the Meetup Area of Exhibit Hall A to participate in the Fursuit Parade.

Fursuit Parade

  • The fursuit parade will start after the group photo, at approximately 11 AM.
  • The path of the fursuit parade will be approximately 1200 feet
  • The parade route will be going outside. If you do not want to go outside in fursuit, you do not need to join the parade.
  • The fursuit parade route will terminate at your choice of the Main Stage ballroom, fursuit lounge, and Panel room 3. All three spaces will have chairs, fans and drinking water available after the parade.
  • You need to be wearing a head covering like a fursuit head, raptor, therian or other mask to enter the Main Stage ballroom, or the parade.
  • Parents of attendees with Youth, Child or KIT (Kids in Tow) badges are permitted to observe their attendee during the Photoshoot. Unless they are in a fursuit head, they will not be able to participate in the photoshoot.
  • Parents are permitted to join their children in the parade.
  • Fursuit handlers who are not in fursuit head will not be allowed to enter the Main Stage ballroom.
  • If you, the fursuiter, require accommodation for the photoshoot please reach out to our staff and we will help you line up.
  • Handlers are permitted to join the fursuiter for the parade.
  • No political garments (for example shirts, bandanas, hats, sleeves) may be worn for the photoshoot or permitted to march in the parade.
  • You may not hold up any object, including flags or signs, during the photoshoot. Intentionally blocking the fursuiter behind you is prohibited. These items may be left to the side during the photo.
  • Props and other objects may be held during the parade.
