Anthro SoCal 2026 is proud to recognize the following guests of honor for their contributions to the event.

Gale Frostbane

Gale Frostbane (she/her) is a lifelong enthusiast of the furry fandom whose life trajectory was irrevocably changed for the better when she joined the community in January 2011. Already serving as the mascot for the University of Vermont at the time, Gale was instantly captivated by the world of fursuiting she discovered online, sparking a professional and personal journey into the heart of character performance. This passion eventually led her to become a co-founder of Anthro New England, where she helped establish a premier space for the community to gather and grow.

At the core of Gale’s involvement is a profound love for performance and education. She is dedicated to the craft of bringing characters to life and sharing that knowledge with others through comedy and storytelling. Her signature panel, Fursuiting 101, has evolved into a celebrated "cult classic" within the convention circuit, allowing her to mentor aspiring performers in a way that is as entertaining as it is educational.

Beyond the panel stage, Gale is a mainstay of the fandom’s social and intellectual life, whether she is hosting events, dancing, or engaging in deep discussions regarding the preservation of furry history. She is honored to serve as a Guest of Honor for Anthro SoCal and looks forward to fostering new connections and creating lasting memories with everyone in attendance.

Juno and Maxx

Maxx has currently lost his screen time privileges because he was a BAD boy today, so you get ME instead. Ahem~

Juno and Maxx is a 3D animated series of skits about me, Juno (the REALEST, BADDEST cat girl who ever lived), and my loveable chud werewolf boyfriend, Maxx. We've been making skits since 2024 and we post them on YouTube, Instagram, and other mysterious blue corners of the net >;3

Anthro SoCal will mark our first ever merch drop with some very normal, very inconspicuous items debuting in the Dealer's Den. Stop by our booth or come to the Meet-and-Greet event to say hello to Maxx and the crew 🙂

Dominique "SonicFox" McLean is a legendary figure in esports whose meteoric rise in the competitive fighting game scene has made them a household name across the gaming community. First breaking into the competitive spotlight in the early 2010s, SonicFox has amassed multi-title EVO championships across franchises like Mortal Kombat, Injustice, Dragon Ball FighterZ, and Skullgirls. Their unmatched execution, high-level tactical adaptability, and signature playstyle have solidified their status as one of the most decorated fighting game players in history.

Off the digital stage, SonicFox is equally celebrated as one of the most visible and iconic figures in the furry fandom. Proudly competing on world stages wearing the head or full fursuit of their recognizable blue fox fursona, they seamlessly bridge the gap between competitive esports and furry culture. Beyond their tournament victories, SonicFox continuously uses their platform to champion diversity, acting as a fierce advocate for LGBTQ+ representation and inclusion in both gaming and fandom spaces.

Whether they are hoisting trophies at major awards or connecting with attendees on the con floor, SonicFox's infectious energy and dedication to the community leave a lasting impact wherever they go. They are excited to join Anthro SoCal as a Guest of Honor!
