Frequently Asked Questions
What ID do I need to bring to get my registration?
For all attendees aged 18 years and older, we require a government-issued photo ID so that we can make sure nobody other than you is trying to pick up your badge or register in your name. Acceptable forms include: a USA or Canada driver’s license, state ID, military ID, or a passport.
For minors aged 13-17, a government-issued photo ID is preferred, but if unavailable, we can accept something with a photo that confirms identity and date of birth. If unsure, contact our Registration team.
I don't have an ID. What should I do?
There are multiple options for both adults and minors to obtain a state-issued photo ID. Please make sure to secure one before the convention. Check with your local government services for guidance.
Can I change my badge name?
Yes. Log in to your registration at https://reg.anthrosocal.org/kiosk/registration and select “Edit Registration” next to your name.
Can I upgrade my membership after I've paid for it?
Yes. Log in to your registration at https://reg.anthrosocal.org/kiosk/registration and select “Edit Registration” next to your name. Please note that quantities are limited and may sell out.
I am unable to stand in long lines. What can I do?
If you find it challenging to stand in line at the convention center entrances, please follow signage to the ”Accessible Entry Lane“ and let staff know if you require assistance. They will make sure your entry process is as smooth as possible. After you have your badge, you can proceed to the Accessibility Desk. If you require assistance from a personal attendant for accessibility reasons, they are welcome to accompany you for a reduced badge rate - please contact us for more information.
I have paid for a membership but cannot attend. Can I get a refund or rollover to next year?
Requests for refunds must be received before August 18, 2026. Rollover requests must be received by the Monday prior to the convention. For more details, see our refund policy page.
I'm buying a registration badge for my child. Do I need one myself?
Children aged 16-17 do not require a guardian inside the con space if they have a valid Minor badge and completed Minor Consent form. If you wish to accompany them, you’ll need to purchase your own registration.
Children 15 and under require a badged adult (18+) inside the con space. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by a badged adult (18+) at all times. If that adult is not their parent or legal guardian, a notarized Parental Assignment for Supervision of Minor Child form must be brought to the Registration Desk. The adult will need to purchase their own registration before the child can be registered on their account.
If the parent/guardian is attending with the minor(s), bringing pre-filled Minor Consent Form(s) will save you time at Registration. Blank forms are available at the Registration Desk. If the parent/guardian is handing us the form, it does not need to be notarized.
